So my Aunt Joann & Uncle Lynn came through town this evening and decided to spend a few days with my Mama and Daddy, Yeah!!! So tonight I made lasagna shells, Mama made a salad and bread and Lori whipped up some divine tiramisu! We ate, BIG!

1 box large pasta shells
1lb ground beef
15oz ricotta cheese

2 eggs
2tbs parsley
1 can Hunt'ts traditional spaghetti sauce

Boil shells according to package. While boiling Brown ground beef with italian seasonings of choice. Pour in spaghetti sauce and let simmer while in a seperate bowl mixing cheeses, eggs & parsley until well combined.
stuff cooked shells with cheese mixture and place in 9x13 pan, top with spaghetti sauce and meat, bake on 350 30-40 minutes!

Fall Festival 2012

OK, so I haven't blogged in almost a year: that doesn't mean I haven't thought about it! Time just has a way of going by to fast when you have a baby.  Which is one of the main reasons I want to start blogging again.  Even if I am the only one who ever looks at this blog, it will be a way to document things we do.  So many little things Hadley did as a baby I have forgotten about and this way I can go back and look through my posts and remember.  Basically the only thing exiting that ever happens in my life involves Hadley so if you don't find that interesting, read no further.

Last night was our church Fall Festival, kids were supposed to dress up as their favorite storybook character.  Hadley's favorite is Biscuit the dog and face it that just would not make a very cute costume,  so since she is not old enough to throw fits about what I make her wear (I have a feeling it won't be long though)I picked Olivia the Pig.  Andy was convinced nobody would know who she was, he was partly correct.  Oh well she looked really cute!  Vivi dressed as Rapunzel and Aidan was Little Jake's Big Bow Hunt.  Vivi was a finalist in the costume competition.

Christmas Tree Troubles!

Ok so this is the first time in a few years for us to put up a Christmas tree, I was so excited because I got all new decorations!! It was horrible!! First of all we had to go to the store twice to even get it because for whatever reason that part of the store was closed. Finally get the tree & the dumb thing wouldn't stand up straight in the stand!! Hmmm...maybe a faux next year?

My handsome Aidan with the tree, I hadn't put the skirt on yet

And of course my little Christmas Baby!
